WELCOME TO TIPS & TRICKS
this months trick is called
SHARP BLADES
June 2008

I don’t know about you but I can’t stand squeaky windshield wipers.  I hate that noise they make when they are dirty and I
hate even more looking through the tracks they leave on the glass.  I want a clean swipe in silence.

Think about this...

You wash your car, why not your windshield wipers?  Oh I know, you think they get clean when your swooshen them across
the window and spraying the sprayer right?  Wrong!  They are cleaning your window but at the same time collecting the dust
and bugs plastered to the glass.  Much of that debris sticks to them.  Did you know that some bug guts are quite acidic?
Yeah they are!  That is the very reason they make so many solutions to get them off of your paint which is a lot more durable
than your rubber wipers.  Paint is a lot more expensive to repair too.  Streaky wipers is the problem.  Do you want the
solution?

Rubbing alcohol.  Pour some on a rag and rub it across the edge of the blade that meets the glass.  If you really want a clean
swipe, get some extra fine steel wool and clean your windshield with it.  Next time you use your wipers, you will be tickled at
the improvement.  Not only will they be quiet, they will offer you a clean & clear shield to look through.  The little things make
the difference.  Just another tip from

Leon The Link.   See ya next month.
