WELCOME TO TIPS & TRICKS
this months trick is called
WHEELS N WINDOWS
September 2007
These are trades no so secrets that I have picked up over the years as a result of twenty plus years in the car business.  I
have to say that I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of response I got from the first release so I have decided to
continue.  Hopefully you will find this one just as helpful as the first...

I won’t keep you long.  I just wanted to pass on a little information that we in the car business tend to take for granted that
could go a long way for you if you take a chance and apply it.  Since it is summer, I assume you have or at least made time to
go cruising in whatever it is that you drive.  If you are like me, you work an insane amount of hours and when you’re done,
you do not have a whole day to make your car presentable for cruising.  Here are some QUICK tips and tricks to get it
presentable in a very short amount of time.  I call this one “wheels and windows” and it amounts to cleaning no more than
just that.  You can clean the wheels and the windows on a dusty car in about fifteen minutes and it will look nice.  I get
compliments on a dirty car all the time just because the wheels and the windows are clean.  Heck I get compliments on my
hoopty which has no paint because I keep the wheels and the windows clean.  I clean the wheels with a spray on rinse off
solution and then dress them with armor all.  You can use whatever you want, but I like Armor All.  With Armor all, the trick is
not to wipe it off.  Let the sun bake it in and then watch the shine come out.  (Approx. twenty minutes)  If you drive away too
fast it will end up all over your quarters.  Most people grab a rag and wipe it off to prevent this, but what they don’t know is
that they are also wiping off the shine.  Trust me, if you let it bake in, the sheen will be amazing.  You can wipe the over
spray off of your wheels though.  Then clean your windows and you are ready to go. Me?  I clean them with a foam window
cleaner and newspaper.  Bling: no streaks no smudges.
